Bigger and closer is usually better when it comes to choosing the perfect television for your room. Size not only affects the price of a television, but it also has a huge impact on the perceived picture quality. For a long time, 65-inch displays were the pinnacle of the big-screen TV market. But in recent years, 75-inch TVs have gone mainstream, with entry-level and high-end models from every major brand. The best 75-inch TVs can deliver an immersive viewing experience, and they’re ideal for bigger rooms where you may need to sit farther from your display.
We have covered the best TV ranging from 55′ to 85′ by their price, size, resolution, and refresh rate

LG B4 OLED
The LG B4 OLED is LG’s entry-level TV in their 2024 OLED lineup. It sits below the LG C4 OLED and uses LG’s α8 AI Processor 4K, which is designed to provide better image processing and can automatically optimize the TV’s picture and sound settings. Only two of the four HDMI ports on last year’s LG B3 OLED had HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, but this year’s model has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on all four HDMI ports. The TV adds ‘Filmmaker Mode’ as a picture setting for Dolby Vision, designed to preserve the content creator’s intent without needing to change any settings. The TV uses the 2024 version of LG’s webOS, and it has a 20W 2.0 channel speaker built-in that can be virtually up-mixed to 9.1.2 using the α8 AI Sound Pro feature. LG is releasing the B4 in a new, smaller 48-inch model, which in the past was only available in their C Series lineup and their discontinued A-Series lineup. It’s available in five sizes: 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch.

Hisense U6/U6N
The Hisense U6/U6N is a budget-friendly TV released in 2024 and replaces the Hisense U6/U6K. It’s the entry-level model in Hisense’s 2024 ULED lineup, sitting below the Hisense U7N and the Hisense U8/U8N. It doesn’t have the same gaming features as the more expensive models, like HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and a black frame insertion, but it’s still capable of 4k @ 60Hz with VRR and HDR enabled, and you can also game in up to 1440p @ 120Hz if you’d prefer a higher frame rate. The TV does have a local dimming feature meant to improve contrast, and it uses Hisense’s Hi-View Engine chipset that’s designed to optimize certain settings to improve the user’s viewing experience. The TV uses the Google TV interface, which is loaded with apps and offers smart features like voice control, and it has a built-in 20W 2.0 channel speaker system. We bought and tested the 65-inch model, but it’s available in four sizes total: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch.
