Giselle, Robert, and Morgan Philip are still blissfully married and are raising their infant Sofia ten years after the events of the first movie. Giselle, however, intends to relocate the family to Monroeville, a suburban community, as living in Manhattan is beginning to wear on them. Poor first impressions are brought on by the move for them: their new home requires work, Robert must commute to keep his job, and Morgan feels alone at her new school. From Andalasia, King Edward and Queen Nancy pay them a call and give them a wand that grants wishes. Giselle runs into the haughty town councilwoman Malvina Monroe, who is holding a ball with a fairytale theme and whose son Tyson has been chosen as the ball’s prince. Giselle attempts to elect Morgan as the ball’s princess to help Morgan fit in, but she unintentionally embarrasses Morgan, which leads to the two of them fighting. Giselle makes the decision to use the wand and make her family’s life into a “perfect fairy tale” after consulting with her chipmunk companion Pip. The town has been changed into Monrolasia by the following day. Robert sees himself as a courageous explorer, and Morgan is content with their new lives. Malvina is now the magically empowered evil queen of the village. Additionally, Giselle notices Morgan’s out-of-character haughty conduct and enjoys treating him badly. Giselle enlists the aid of the magic wand’s guidance scroll after becoming aware that she is morphing into a wicked stepmother. The scroll shows that Giselle’s wish, which transforms the actual world into a fairy tale, is depleting Andalasia’s magic and that it will become permanent at midnight. When Malvina discovers about the magic wand, she recruits her two servants Rosaleen and Ruby to steal it, but the scroll informs her that only a “true Andalasian” is capable of using the wand. Before sending her to Andalasia, Giselle persuades Morgan to save them because she knows that without the wand, she will give in to her evil nature. Morgan discovers that the magic of the realm is transported to Monrolasia via a vortex, and that once the spell is cast permanently, Andalasia will vanish forever. Morgan should use the power of the memories to reawaken Giselle to who she really is, according to Nancy and Edward. With images from shared memories, Morgan updates a family tree drawing from his youth. After finishing, he and Nancy return to the actual world. Giselle confronts Malvina for the throne of Monrolasia while still acting in accordance with her evil personality. In addition to sending Robert on a presumably fruitless search for Morgan, Giselle dispatches Pip, who has been transformed into a tabby cat, to recover the wand. Giselle and Malvina fight a magic battle at the ball, with the former easily defeating the latter. Before storming into the town hall to put an end to the fight, Morgan and Nancy connect with Robert and Tyson. Morgan throws Giselle her drawing, which she tears, but the power in it brings the memories to life and makes Giselle whole again. Malvina holds Morgan as ransom and wants the wand in return because she doesn’t want the spell to be broken. Malvina splits the device in half after Giselle gives it up. Everything from Andalasia starts to vanish as midnight draws near, including Giselle. Morgan is told by Giselle that because she is her daughter, she is a true Andalasian and is therefore capable of using the wand while Robert and Tyson ascend to the summit of the clock tower to stop the final chime. Malvina tries to get the clock tower to chime before it was demolished, and Morgan wishes she was home with her mother at the same moment. When Morgan wakes up in their home, everything is back to usual. She and Giselle are the only ones who are conscious of what happened; everyone else thinks it was a dream. Malvina accepts Giselle’s apology for interfering with her plans and invites her to join the municipal council. A while later, Morgan and Tyson had begun dating, Robert had relocated his business to Monroeville, and Nancy and Edward were returning to the Philips in their fulfilled lives. For more personality quizzes check this: Left Behind Rise Of The Antichrist Quiz.
