The film makes reference to “Plate 626” from Eadweard Muybridge’s Animal Locomotion, which was “the very first assembly of photographs used to create a motion picture”[5]. The Haywood family manages and trains horses for movie and broadcast productions in Agua Dulce, California. One day, metallic objects start to descend from the sky, and Otis Haywood Sr. is killed by a falling nickel that is thought to have come from an airplane after being struck in the eye.

After their horse, Lucky, reacts violently to its own reflection in a handheld mirror, Otis “OJ” Haywood Jr. and Emerald “Em” Haywood are fired from the scene of a TV ad six months later. OJ sells some of the horses to Ricky “Jupe” Park, owner of the Western amusement park Jupiter’s Claim, in order to keep the company afloat. Jupe also makes use of his time as a child actor, particularly the time Gordy, a chimpanzee, injured his co-stars but left him unharmed on the set of a sitcom. But you shouldn’t waste any more time and start this Nope quiz. The Haywoods discover their power fluctuating one night, along with their horses disappearing and behaving violently in response to an unidentified presence. They find a UFO that has been stealing their horses and vomiting out the inorganic material, which OJ believes was the cause of their father’s demise. The siblings resolve to collect and market proof of the UFO’s presence, and they enlist Angel Torres, an employee of Fry’s Electronics, to install security cameras. The UFO makes a second appearance and kidnaps Clover the horse as well as a fake that Em stole from Jupiter’s Claim.

The following day, Em tries to convince renowned filmmaker Antlers Holst to assist them in capturing the UFO. Em is informed by Holst that pursuing fame and riches is a “dream you will never wake up from” and he refuses. The Haywoods are then informed by Angel that the cloud that OJ believes to be the UFO’s hiding spot is actually a stationary cloud that was photographed. Also, you will find out which character are you in this Nope quiz. Jupe starts a live show in Jupiter’s Claim and intends to use Lucky as bait to draw out the UFO in front of the crowd, which he has been feeding the Haywoods’ horses to for months. Jupe and the entire audience are devoured by the UFO when it comes early. OJ now affirms that the UFO is a fiercely territorial predatory organism rather than a spacecraft. OJ learns that the creature only attacks people who stare directly at it after the creature attacks the Haywood home and marks its territory with the regurgitated remains of the crowd. OJ comes up with a scheme to record the Haywood family and Angel’s safe exit from the house. Prior to receiving a call from Holst, who now offers to assist Em after seeing TV news coverage of the Jupiter’s Claim incident, Em and Angel are hesitant. OJ gives the creature the moniker “Jean Jacket” in honor of a horse that Em had agreed to train.

About the quiz

Holst brings a hand-cranked IMAX film camera to record video in order to get around Jean Jacket’s effects on electronics. The group comes up with a plan to lure Jean Jacket using a field of electrically powered tube man props to help them determine its position in the sky. This plan is developed with the assistance of Angel. However, a paparazzo intrudes onto the field and, when his electric motorbike breaks down close to Jean Jacket, is flung from it and eaten by Jean Jacket. Despite filming Jean Jacket, Holst is consumed along with his camera because he is determined to get “the impossible shot,” which forces the other three to escape. After being shielded from Jean Jacket’s attack by a tarp and barbed wire, Angel is able to take on a jellyfish-like shape and live. Also, you must try to play this Nope quiz. OJ deliberately directs his gaze at Jean Jacket, allowing it to draw him toward its maw so Em can use the motorcycle to flee to Jupiter’s Claim. She lets go of Jupe, a sizable helium balloon that serves as the park’s symbol. While Em employs an attraction’s analog camera to capture Jean Jacket before the balloon pops and kills it, Jean Jacket tries to eat the balloon. Em notices an unharmed OJ and Lucky standing outside of Jupiter’s Claim as reporters approach the area with the photo as evidence of the creature’s existence.
