They understand that Carlos, the second killer, was seeking retribution for Quince’s killing of his father, who had lost both of his legs. He drives Nick and Audrey on a car pursuit while holding Delacroix hostage, but they are forced to crash and save Delacroix. At gunpoint, Carlos threatens them all; but, Nick and Audrey’s crazy tour bus, which they never boarded, kills Carlos. Thanking the couple, Delacroix pledges to assist in getting Nick back home elevated to detective.
