Witness is marketed as a thriller, but it’s so much more than that that I wish the advertisements for it hadn’t even mentioned murder. First and foremost, this is a passionate and moving love tale. Then it becomes a movie about the decisions we make in life and the decisions made for us by others. Only after that does it become a thriller, one Alfred Hitchcock would be pleased to produce. The first act of the film establishes the plot, giving it plenty of time to interact with and get to know the characters. The movie opens in a Pennsylvania Amish village where a proud religious community has been maintaining its independence for 200 years. The Amish have a strong dislike for outsiders and are fiercely committed to living in the country with their horses and carriages, communal barn-raisings, gas lanterns in place of electricity, and hooks in place of buttons.

A deceased Amish guy. His widow and boy board a train to depart. The young boy sees a murder in the Philadelphia railway station. The tough, big-city detective entrusted to the case is played by Harrison Ford. He sets up lineups in the hopes that the child will identify the killer. He displays the child’s mugshots. The police force is then revealed to be responsible for the murder. An attack nearly results in Ford’s death. He is in imminent danger, as well as the widow and her son. He drives them all back to Pennsylvania’s Amish country before passing out from blood loss. But you shouldn’t waste any more time and start this Witness For The Prosecution quiz. And this is actually where the show starts. The first part of “Witness” has been a smooth, first-rate drama. It now evolves into a wise and insightful love tale. It’s not one of those romantic relationships where a man and a woman automatically fell in love because that’s how their hormones are wired. It’s about two strong-willed, complex individuals who grow to love one another as a result of their shared peril, their ability to get along well with one another, and their mutual respect. Their physical attraction to one another is so strong that it almost takes on the role of another character in the film.

Peter Weir, the talented Australian filmmaker of “The Year of Living Dangerously,” directed “Witness.” He has a keen sense of places, the landscape, and how people develop their sense of self through the way they carry out their job. Also, you will find out which character are you in this Witness For The Prosecution quiz. He depicts the urban man and the plain Amish women in the context of the Amish community throughout the entire middle part of this film. It is a masterful piece of cinematography, and the thriller aspects alone would keep us interested. Even just the love tale would be thrilling. The ways of living of the Amish are so meticulously documented that they have a documentary-like quality. But because the three components mesh so well, we feel as though we are part of the narrative.

About the quiz

In a film, Harrison Ford has never delivered a finer performance. The young actress Kelly McGillis, who portrays the Amish widow, exudes a kind of luminous simplicity. It is energizing and slightly erotic to see a woman who rejects all the conventional man-woman programmed responses of contemporary society. Also, you must try to play this Witness For The Prosecution quiz. The growing love between them is not predicated on clichés; for both of them, the cultural gap is at least as significant as the emotions they share. When they do eventually get into a kiss, it is a glorious, sensual moment because this kiss is a sharing of trust and passion rather than just another plug-in element from your standard kit of movie images. Recently, there have been so many dull, lifeless, and often recycled adolescent exploitation movies produced by eager young stylists without a thought in their minds – that “Witness” feels like a brand-new day. It is a film about grownups, whose lives are worthy of respect and whose decisions matter to them. Additionally, it is a terrific drama.
