The west side of Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood served as the location for the front of the Parkers’ home in the movie “A Christmas Story.” The structure is now accessible to the public as A Christmas Story House after being renovated and internally rearranged to match the soundstage interiors. Ralphie appreciates some of the gifts he receives for Christmas, but he is upset that the rifle was not one of them. Ralphie’s father (“The Old Man”) leads him to one more box hidden in the corner after it seems that all of the gifts have been opened, which turns out to contain the rifle.
