John McClane sits on a flight to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve 1988. A fellow passenger notifies him about the voyage, recommending that after arriving as a remedy for jet lag, he takes time to do barefoot fistings on the taper with his toes. John sees a chauffeur holding a sign labeled “j. McClane” after he landed and collected his bags. Argyle, a driver, takes him to Nakatomi Plaza. John works still in New York City as a detective, but his wife, Holly Gennero, is moving to California for a long career.

Both John and Holly believed the other would twist and move to join the other, but both are too difficult to lead.

In the meantime, Joe Takagi at the Nakatomi Plaza talks at their Christmas party on the 30th floor in the lobby of the Nakatomi Corporation’s staff. He announces that the day was one of the company’s most successful days. Holly Gennero goes through the crowd and completes some documentation. Her colleague Harry Ellis flirts with her as she goes down a hallway. She excuses her pregnant Ginny when she comes to her workplace to join the celebration. And displays Harry at the door.

Holly Gennero then talks on a phone about John’s arrival with her little daughter Lucy and nanny Paulina. Admitting they are not sure whether or not he made a flight. She stares at a photograph of her, John, and their kids; She sighs and puts it on the shelf facing down. Also, you must try to play this Die Hard quiz.

John’s limo lands on Nakatomi Plaza entrance. Argyle tells him that he is going to wait for John in the garage and he tells him he has made other plans. John is welcoming the security guard and using the internet to find out Holly’s last name has changed to Gennero, her maid’s name. He goes through the party and meets Joe Takagi who shows him to Holly’s office on the elevator to the thirtieth level. Harry Ellis sits at the office, who clearly snorted cocaine earlier.

The amazing 80s action classic that was reissued for the 30th anniversary of the event could only be enjoyed by the hardest of hearts: with awful explosions, deafening shootouts, and clever tag lines after the bad guys shot. It is the film which, with a certain vulgar addition, took the slogan “Yippee-ki-ay” from Roy Rogers. Each bar contestant knows that it’s a Christmas movie, but not many know that the Ode to Joy of Beethoven’s Ninth has been unanticipatedly filmed by the terrorists as they move closer to the destination.

About the quiz

The intruders are headed by Hans Gruber, a German terrorist renegade linked to the “New Provo Front” in Northern Ireland.

Single-handedly soaked in sweat and muscles, wearing nothing but a masculine vest. McClane hides in a shaft and knocks Gruber down and his whole grotesque crew one by one. A tough, able LAPD cop, Al Powell, is his sole support from the outside (Reginald VelJohnson). Certainly, the FBI’s filled shirts are no use and the TV media are the disrespected helpful idiots of the terrorists. Finally, his wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) introduces Al by her married name, restoring the normal order of things.

But later, near the shooting’s completion, this scene got troublesome when de Souza reported that Gruber’s crew were trying to get away in a hospital and crashed with De’voreaux White. The question: there was no ambulance in the opening scene to “synchronize your rear watches”. So the scene needed to be continuous.

‘[Managing Director] John [McTiernan] tells the publisher, ‘Get in the scissors. Cut off the truck as quickly as you can, so we won’t see that there is no outpatient clinic.” Now all the times where Bruce looks at these guys’ watches are meaningless without ‘Sync your watches’,” de Souza added.

You can still find that, when McClane gets a cigarette from McClane, McClane takes stock of Gruber’s watch. But we have no concept of why the cuts are important.
