Peter is depicted in the initial scene knelt in front of his wife while seated on the floor. As he cleanses his wife’s feet, his children are gathered around him, intently listening to what he has to say. Peter is told to “come on boy” by a group of white men who materialize in the doorway unexpectedly. Before one of the men points a gun at his wife’s head and snatches him out of the home, Peter puts up a little bit of a fight. He then informs the males that he is going to walk. Peter is subsequently struck in the back of the head, placed in the back of a cage, and transported away from his loved ones to an unidentified location.[8] He’s a train employee in Clinton, Louisiana.
