The twisted love story, “Corpse Bride” is a kid’s film – Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Emily Watson give voice to death, murder, and ghosts. Young Victor Van Dort (Depp) marries Victoria (Watson) with his wife, a woman he never met, who has cold feet without saying it. He lays his wedding ring on a wiped tree branch while practicing his vows – it is only not a branch, but a dead bride’s hand – a corpse bride (Carter). In the meantime, above all in the living world, Victoria became committed to a different man. In the first place the same one responsible for the death of the Corpse Bride.

Not hilarious, but “Corpse Bridereally “are an amazing set design and wacky characters are enjoyable from beginning to end. Burton’s last movie, “Charlie and the Factory for Chocolate,” generally had a fantastic flare, but “Corpse Bride” does that, and then some. It may well be helping that the film lasted 55 weeks and was shot on a digital SLR camera – not with a cinema camera. Every second must be worth it with the tedious process of making a stop motion picture.
Son of rich aristocrats, Victor Van Dort is now compelled to marry Victoria, daughter, or even the richest aristocracy. For both families, marriage has a reciprocal advantage. The family of Victoria will see social classes grow and the family of Victoria will also see their riches slightly increase. Victor is apprehensive, though, about marrying someone he didn’t even know. But the two instantly fall in love after meeting Victoria. Victor keeps flubbing his lines at the wedding rehearsal. And is shocked by the priest so that he runs out from the church and regains his senses and practices his lines. Victor practices his lines and puts the ring on his bride to the finger. When he spots a twig sticking out the earth and you wouldn’t know he clasps it. Sadly, it wasn’t the bridal finger of an undead bride, and Victor took her hand in marriage voluntarily. Now it is up to Victor to persuade the whole incident of his new bride. She believes they should be together and the bride doesn’t like her own takeaway Victoria’s delight. Barkis Bittern goes inside the chapel and claims that it won’t happen because he’s married to Victoria. He goes to grab a snack from the cup and dies (not knowing it’s poison). The corpse bride realized Barkis was the one who killed her shouts and followed him. The dead folks want him first before she can reach him. The film finishes with Victoria kissing and Emily’s sadness free.
Victoria follows all the people at the marriage of Victor and Emily, as Victor fulfills her vows. And is ready to have a drink of the poison only to stop Emily if she sees Victoria refusing to live happily with him. Just as Victoria and Victoria meet with Emily, Barkis takes Victoria away. Emily identifies him as her former fiancé and explains that he was her murderer as well.
To defend Victoria, Victor duels with Barkis, and Emily intervenes in order to spare Victor’s life. Emily mocks Barkis for dying unintentionally and unwittingly takes the poison Viktor almost has taken, killing him and allows the dead, who cannot interfere in the affairs of the living, to repay him for his sins. Free from her anguish, Emily releases Victor from his promise of marriage, and returns his ring, allowing him to marry Victoria, to whom she threads the bouquet of her marriage. As she steps into the Moonlight, she watches and embraces Victor and Victoria and flies into hundreds of butterflies, finding rest.
