Outlander’s first set of novels combining historic fiction and romantic story with elements of magic and science fiction addresses the subjects of love, loyalty, gender, and power by the story of a young lady who unintentionally passed through the 1740s. The story begins in 1945 with her husband, Frank, who is the protagonist, Claire Randall, in Scotland. As a consequence, before you move to a new home in Oxford, where you plan to settle down and establish a family, your vacation is their second sunrise. This strategy is however interrupted if Claire touches some pagan pillars and loses consciousness.

Claire is consumed by the ideas of fleeing and returning to the stones so that she might return to her own time and Frank. Events are unfolding which prevent her from returning. Discovering Randall is his great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather explains a lot about Frank.

Despite the fact that Claire is forced to marry a Highlander, Jamie Fraser, they rapidly grow to love each other. Despite the clan MacKenzie believing she’s a spy, they allow her to keep her position as a healer, which stops her from attempting to go back in time. Knowing that the Jacobite cause is hopeless, she tries to convey the message to the Jacobites not to rebel. When Randall abducted Jamie, tormented him, and raped him, Claire and his clansmen came to his rescue. During Claire’s pregnancy, they make a ship for France, where she intends to live the remainder of her life.
