Jesper Johansen, the lazy, spoiled, and self-centered son of the Royal Postmaster General in 19th-century Norway,[5] has been enrolled in his postman training school in the hopes that it will change him. Jesper intentionally underperforms, causing his father to eventually assign him the task of posting 6,000 letters within a year in the far-off island town of Smeerensburg. Jesper will lose access to the family’s wealth if he fails. When Jesper first arrives, the bitter teacher-turned-fishmonger Alva and the sarcastic ferryman Mogens inform him that the Ellingboes and the Krums, who make up almost all of the town’s residents, are constantly at odds and spend more time hating each other than exchanging letters.

Jesper stumbles upon a remote home outside of the town while frantically looking for people to send letters to. There, he meets Klaus, a tall, solitary woodsman with a house full of homemade toys. Jesper runs away after being terrified by Klaus’ intimidating appearance and leaves behind a drawing he discovered made by a Krum kid from Smeerensburg. Klaus makes Jesper take him to the home shown in the drawing, where he sneakily brings the boy inside a toy to cheer him up. But you shouldn’t waste any more time and start this Klaus quiz. Other kids hear about this incident and go to Jesper the following day with the idea that if they write Klaus a note, they will all receive toys. Jesper takes advantage of the opportunity and approaches Klaus to contribute his toys. Klaus agrees—as long as they work at night and Jesper keeps delivering the toys covertly. To the chagrin of their tribes, the Krum boy’s toy prompts him to play with an Ellingboe girl. Family elders Tammy Krum and Aksel Ellingboe learn that Jesper and Klaus were the ones who brought the toy to the Krum child and reveal the long histories of animosity between their clans. More kids soon start addressing their messages to Klaus. When Jesper informs them that Klaus only rewards good behavior with toys and is aware of any child who misbehaves, the kindness they show gradually motivates the rest of the villagers to settle their long-standing dispute and prompts Alva to reopen her school so that the youngsters can learn to read and write so they can send letters.

Klaus Quiz

At some point, Jesper and Klaus run out of tools. Jesper attempts to convince Klaus to finish more toys in time for Christmas as his deadline draws near. Despite his initial opposition, Klaus eventually joins forces with Jesper to construct a sled for a young child called Márgu who lives in a remote settlement with her people. When Klaus does eventually mention Lydia to Jesper, he explains that she passed away from an illness and that he had made the toys for the children the couple had hoped to have. As Márgu and the rest of her group arrive to lend a hand, Klaus, who has gradually come to understand that their work is bringing joy to the kids, agrees to the Christmas plan. Jesper discovers that he wants to remain in Smeerensburg as the community and his relationship with Alva grow. Also, you will find out which character are you in this Klaus quiz. To prevent Jesper and Klaus from continuing their long-standing feud, Aksel Ellingboe and Tammy Krum strike a brief truce. They themselves post enough letters to reach well in excess of Jesper’s goal, and they inform his father that he posted 14,000 letters. On Christmas Eve, Jesper’s father shows up to congratulate him and unintentionally reveals to Jesper’s pals the self-centered reasons for his actions. Jesper’s father sees his son’s regret just before they depart town, and after a private discussion, he lets Jesper stay. Jesper then makes an apparent unsuccessful attempt to halt the elders’ furious mob from destroying the Christmas toys. The youngsters in the town had already told Alva about the scheme, so she and Klaus had substituted dummy objects for the toys. Magdalone, the daughter of Mr. Ellingboe, and Olaf, the son of Mrs. Krum, fell in love as they pursue the toys.

About the quiz

As a result of the family leaders being compelled to settle their dispute over the marriage of their children, Jesper is saved and Smeerensburg is transformed into a joyful community. Jesper marries Alva, has two children, and for the next eleven years, he and Klaus continue to distribute presents in Smeerensburg and elsewhere. Then, on the twelfth year, Klaus vanishes after following a wisp of wind up a sunny hill while claiming to be going to be with his deceased wife. Klaus, however, continues to appear in holiday tales, and so every Christmas Eve after that, Jesper continues to wait for Klaus, who makes a comeback every year to deliver toys all over the globe. Also, you must try to play this Klaus quiz.
