Vincent (John Travolta) and Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) are on their way to an apartment when they get into a car accident. A Big Mac and the Metric System are discussed in Paris. When they get at a certain flat, they begin discussing about massages and how Marcellus Wallace murdered a man who offered his wife a foot massage. A sequence of odd talks will follow in this film. Pulp Fiction, on the other hand, feeds on it. Conversations like these are what propel Quentin Tarantino’s film ahead. You’d think that a gangster film with little action could not possibly be successful in the 1950s.

Promotions for movies depended on explosives instead of dialogue to get their message across. Most of Hollywood’s big-budget, cash-grabbing artists are still like this. Because of this, this movie became one of the most successful films in recent memory, based just on dialogue and delivery. Pulp Fiction has some great dialogue, too.

Editor’s Picks

In order for viewers to enjoy the process of piecing together a movie that is made up of a random collection of events, witty dialogue must be used.

As far as I can tell, the cleverness of this script does not rely entirely on the information offered during the discussions. In this movie, the characters talk endlessly about worthless, irrelevant issues that have no bearing on the plot. However, isn’t this the closest we can come to realism? While it’s strange to watch a character engage in a useless conversation, it reveals a lot about him or her. As a result, it serves a function in the end. In the apartment where Jules and Vincent first entered, after killing all the men save Marvin. Another man emerges from the toilet and fires a gun at Jules and Vincent, but it misses. Jules feels they’ve experienced a miracle, but Vincent doesn’t. In the automobile, they discuss the so-called miracle and Vincent accidentally blows out Marvin’s brain. James and Jimmie store the automobile in Jimmie’s garage and phone The Wolf for assistance.

Vincent and Jules head to a coffee shop for breakfast as Pumpkin and Honey Bunny wait for their car to be cleaned. Pumpkin and Honey Bunny rob the restaurant, causing panic among the customers, and Jules pulls his gun against Pumpkin’s neck and makes him sit and relax.

About the quiz

Although his time in Pulp Fiction is brief, Captain Koons (Walken) leaves a lasting effect. Viewers are first given a flashback scene when the film changes from Vincent (Travolta) to Butch (Willis). There is a quick glimpse of a young Butch watching television in the mid-’70s. They are greeted by his mother, who explains that she met Jeff Koons while they were both in a Vietnam War prison camp, and lets Koons take over. Butch’s father begs Koons to bring him a gold watch. Because his son was going to perish in the prisoner camp. Koons then recounts Butch a long story about the watch.

It looks like a wonderful narrative when Koons recounts the story Butch’s father told him about the gold watch’s journey from its purchase in the early 20th century through the generations. In a shocking revelation, Koons discloses that Butch’s father kept Butch’s gold watch safe in the POW camp by stashing it in a body cavity other than his mouth.

With the first episode of Pulp Fiction, Vincent and Jules (Jackson) are on the job for Marcellus Wallace (Rhames). Neither Vincent nor Jules reveal their destination, but Vincent tells Jules about his recent European vacation, complete with the French Quarter Pounder, “Royale with cheese”, and Amsterdam’s bars.
