From the beginning of Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, the diligent narrator of Patrick Warburton Lemony Snicket has cautioned against the terrible end of the orphan Baudelaire story, which only turned out in the third and final seasons in part. He welcomes the youngsters but instructs Count Olaf (following a tried revolution) to put in a bird’s cage and leave it to sink in the next storm on the sea wall. On the first island, everything seemed beautiful, but then the Baudelaires realized that the people of the Baudelaires were contented and forgotten only by taking fermented cocoa milk and Ishmael washed out as too harmful. The Baudelaires have noticed after a lack of information to receive information from Count Olaf that he is leaving his tent and has traveled to the other side of the island.

Ishmael has rancor over Count Olaf through a sequence of unhappy (and difficult) occurrences and when he discovered his real identity (Olaf, of course, was dishonest on the island) shoots the Count in his belly.
Luckily the injury will be catastrophic for Olaf’s opponents. Sadly the shot passed the helmet with spores of Medusoid Mycelium. A toxic mushroom that kills everyone who pumps it up within an hour. Olaf secreted it as a last act of vengeance under his shirt.
